About this tool

How to use it

  1. Enter your board game name and customize player names (supporting 2 to 8 tabletop players).
  2. Click 'Randomize Order' to decide who takes the first turn and establishes turn sequence fairly.
  3. Optionally activate the turn timer (30s blitz, 60s standard, 90s, or 120s) with audio chime alerts to prevent analysis paralysis.
  4. At the end of each round, enter earned points for each player and click 'Record Round Scores'.
  5. Review live rank standings, cumulative differentials, round breakdown history, and copy the final game recap to share in group chats.

Why it matters

Nothing halts game night momentum faster than lost scrap paper, missing pencils, and disputes over arithmetic after hours of tactical play. Furthermore, 'analysis paralysis' can drag a 60-minute Eurogame into a three-hour slog. An integrated scorekeeper with a visual turn order track and optional gentle timer keeps games moving briskly while transparently recording every round's score tally.

When to use it

Ideal for tabletop game nights, board game cafes, pub trivia matches, Catan, Ticket to Ride, Scrabble, card tournaments, and casual party games where multiple players compete over sequential scoring rounds.

Good to know

Scores can accept negative values (for penalty cards or deducted resources). Everything runs 100% in your browser without requiring account registration or internet connectivity once loaded.

Common questions

How many players can I track at once?

The tracker natively supports 2 to 8 players, automatically assigning distinctive color-coded avatar badges and tracking each participant's individual score history.

Can I input negative score values?

Yes. If a player loses points due to penalty cards or unbuilt objectives (common in games like Ticket to Ride or Agricola), enter a negative number (e.g., -5) and the cumulative total adjusts accurately.

Does the turn timer require sound permissions?

The turn timer uses the standard browser Web Audio API to play an unobtrusive two-tone chime when time expires. It requires no microphone permissions or external sound file downloads.

Can I export our final score summary?

Yes. Click 'Copy Game Summary' at any time to place a neatly formatted leaderboard recap onto your clipboard, ready to paste directly into Discord, WhatsApp, or Slack.

Are scores saved if I accidentally refresh?

Active match scores reside in page memory to keep gameplay fast and lightweight. For long gaming sessions, use 'Copy Game Summary' between pivotal eras to keep a backup record on your clipboard.
