How to use it
- Enter a family member's name, relationship tier, birth year, and optional death year, then click '+ Add Relative'.
- Switch between 'Genealogy Tree Hierarchy' to view generation branch cards and 'Chronological Lifespan Timeline' to see lifespan bands.
- Click on any relative's card node to select them, and click 'Download SVG' to export a clean vector graphic for printing or genealogy albums.

How many generations can I track in this family tree?
The hierarchy view organizes four primary tiers: Grandparents (Generation 0), Parents (Generation 1), Self/Siblings/Spouses (Generation 2), and Children (Generation 3).
Can I export the completed chart as a vector graphic?
Yes. The 'Download SVG' button saves a high-fidelity Scalable Vector Graphics file that scales smoothly to any size for print framing, posters, or PDF documents.
What happens if a relative is still living?
Leave the Death Year field empty. The system will label their date range as 'Living' in the tree view and project their lifespan bar to the current year on the timeline.
Is my family ancestry information uploaded or shared?
No. The entire tree generation engine runs 100% locally in your browser memory. No names, birthdates, or family details are ever transmitted over the network.
Can I remove or correct a family member?
Click directly on the person's card node in the tree diagram to select them, then click 'Remove Relative' on the toolbar.
